People Profiles

Matt joined Catalyze in 2023, bringing over 15 years’ experience in Operational Research and Project Delivery from the Ministry of Defence and Dstl.  He has led analytical support across Defence, including capability audit, procurement, and strategy, supporting a wide range of complex programmes.

Matt enjoys helping clients tackle complex problems collaboratively using a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods, with strengths in systems thinking and facilitation. He was recently made a Fellow of the Operational Research Society. Outside work, Matt’s time is monopolised by his two kids, although he’ll always find time for a spot of travelling, painting, and sport.  His current focus is supporting the Army with operating model design and strategic prioritisation.

Matt Bunn Managing Consultant

Charlotte joined Catalyze in 2025, after receiving a First-Class degree in Mathematics with Theoretical Physics from the University of Plymouth. She brings experience from the MOD, where she supported high-profile analysis including Gender Pay Gap reporting and socio-economic workforce studies.

Charlotte enjoys getting to the root of complex problems and using data to provide clients with the clarity needed to enable informed decision-making. Her strengths are in statistical modelling, programming, and data visualisation, and she currently supports the Clyde Transformation Programme as part of the Stakeholder Communications and Engagement team.

Charlotte has embraced life in Winchester and has quickly become part of Catalyze’s close-knit team, volunteering in the community, playing in a local netball league, and always on the lookout for the best spot for a game of pool.

Charlotte Storey Analyst Consultant

Senior Consultant Grace joined Catalyze in 2013, having previously completed a PhD in Astrophysics at the University of Southampton. Starting as a full time consultant, Grace has since moved to a working 3 days a week, balancing work with life as a parent.

At Catalyze, Grace has become an expert in decision science techniques including multi-criteria decision analysis, and enjoys helping our clients and our team to put these techniques into practice to improve decision making. Grace has a great variety of clients, industries, geography, consulting and analysis in her work at Catalyze, and particularly enjoys the intellectual challenge and supportive learning environment of our work, applying best practice to real world problems and decisions that have a lasting impact.

Grace O’Connor Senior Consultant

Previously at Capgemini Invent and QinetiQ, Jono joined Catalyze in 2022, bringing with him a wide range of skills and experience in business cases, transformation, business analysis, and digital product development across organisations as varied as the Home Office, MOD, and the Department for International Trade.

With a BSc in Psychology from Cardiff University, Jono particularly enjoys the variety of work at Catalyze, enabling him to build a broad range of skills that have a genuine impact on the organisations we work with. Outside work, he spends most of his time keeping up with his young son and running the trails around Winchester.

Jono Brown Principal Consultant

Senior Consultant Dan joined Catalyze in 2020, having previously worked as a Cost Estimator at DE&S. Dan studied an MEng in Aeronautics and Astronautics at the University of Southampton. Having started full time, he has since moved to working 4.5 days per week to fit in with childcare.

At Catalyze, Dan has expanded his knowledge and experience of data analysis and visualisation tools and approaches including Power BI. He enjoys the variety of work and the team approach to work, and is currently cost modelling to support the RAF transformation of airfield enabling services.

Dan enjoys open water swimming and has become a regular lead off swimmer for the Catalyze triathlon relay team.
